This is really a question concerning the amount of work that teaching staff will have and the degree of freedom that teaching staff will allow student to self moderate their comments to a student’s blog. it opens the door for peer assessment, which could reduce teacher workload, assuming the teaching staff can overcome their mistrust of peer assessment.
There is a technical issue concerning how BIM. how well does it integrate with in Mahara (e-portfolio) in Moodle? Something to through back at David.
